Statue of the Virgin Mary - Survives the Los Angeles Fire
Share
From January 7 to 31, 2025, a series of 14 destructive wildfires affected the Los Angeles metropolitan area and San Diego County in California, United States. The Los Angeles fire included a family's home burning down and their statue of the Virgin Mary and Joseph were unharmed by the fire. The story that is important is the family. They went back to the statue and prayed and thanked God that they had their home for 37 years. A truly beautiful family. After losing everything it is amazing, not only their show of faith, but the appreciation they have felt for the time they had their home. It's incredible to see their positive outlook in the most difficult of times and their unshakable faith in god.
